German DJ Carsten Klein is based in Amsterdam, where he is one of the resident DJs at PRIK, presenting his Popsnob night once a month. His very first set was, rather excitingly, at Berlin’s famous Berghain Kantine.
Spanning five decades of electronic pop, anything is possible – from Kraftwerk to Kylie, New Order to Nu Shooz, Róisín to Robyn, Richard X to Stacey Q, Tiga to Towa Tei, Electribe 101 to Front 242… and, of course, from East End boys to West End girls.
In pop, there is no guilt in pleasure!
